Applying South Korean trends and innovation to an ever-growing range of fruit-fuelled skin care, Glow Recipe’s co-founders – Sarah Lee and Christine Chang – have made K-Beauty’s brilliance accessible to all. Cute, covetable and ultra-efficacious, these sorbet-hued treatments are laced with results-driven actives, from vitamin A to resurfacing acids, and work to revitalise skin for a luminous, ‘glass skin’ effect. Ready, set… glow!
A beautiful, make up-melting and deep-cleansing formula, Glow Recipe’s first balm cleanser – Papaya Sorbet Cleansing Balm – is brimming with brightening, soothing and pore-purifying oils, extracts and actives to leave your face spotless, soft and irresistibly smooth.
A Cult Beauty exclusive, this lightweight, skin-nourishing balm-to-foam texture grips any stubborn oils, dirt and debris to sweep away every last trace of the day. Fruity and refreshing, the star is papaya – a rich source of dark spot-diminishing vitamin C and cell-stimulating vitamin A – which refines as it helps to restore uniformity. The mix of exfoliating and calming papaya seed oil, papaya enzymes, papaya extract, and antioxidant-packed blueberry, leaves skin clean and bouncy. Radiance is the name of the game here, as skin is left positively glowing without so much as a sting to the eyes or a stripped, tight-feeling surface in sight. An absolute must-try, this formula is vegan, cruelty-free and free from PEGs, parabens, mineral oil, sulfates, silicones, phthalates, drying alcohols, synthetic dyes and fragrance. Oh, and did we mention that this is also safe for sensitive skin, eyes, contact lens wearers and it’s ophthalmologist-tested too?! We're thoroughly impressed!
To Use As a Makeup Remover: Scoop a generous amount. On dry skin, gently massage formula in circular motions for up to 1 minute with dry hands, focusing on areas that have more makeup. Add water to emulsify and continue to massage, and then thoroughly splash with lukewarm water to rinse.
Pro Tip: Massage the formula onto dry skin with dry hands for up to 30 seconds. Add water to emulsify and massage it again for up to 30 seconds for the most effective makeup removal. To double-cleanse, use 1-2 pumps of Blueberry Bounce Gentle Cleanser (sold separately) and gently massage onto skin for up to 1 minute, and rinse thoroughly with water. Follow with your usual skincare routine.

Lovely smell but leaves film on the eyes
In a bid to find a less £££ version of Elemis’ cleansing balm, I thought I’d give this a try. The smell is divine & my skin feels free from makeup & SPF after using but unfortunately each time I use it I end up with a film in both of my eyes, & I have to spend time afterwards trying to wipe out the gunk. My eyes do feel dry afterwards, & I haven’t had this issue with other cleansing balms I’ve tried in the past. I have almost finished the pot because I don't want to waste it but will not be repurchasing.
Report this reviewMelts like butter
I’m making my way through different cleansing balms and have recently tried this one. Great texture melts between your palms, smells gorgeous but not overpowering and removes makeup and dirt with ease, great for the first step followed by my usual cleanser. Would definitely recommend. My favourite is still Then I Met You Living Cleansing Balm but this is a close second.Â
Report this reviewDouble Cleansing required
As I have dry skin, I like how this cleansing balm made my skin feel hydrated without stripping moisture from my face. It does remove makeup (including waterproof mascara gently) and doesn’t irritate my skin, but it leaves a residue on my skin hence double cleansing is required. It has a smooth texture and mild smell that is not overpowering.
Report this reviewMy go to cleansing balm
This is my third tub of this, definitely my go to balm. I use it everyday fairly liberally  and I’ve found it lasts me 4 and a half months. This melts make-up and sunscreen off in the most beautiful way, it smells and feels so luxurious. When I was wash it off and use my double cleanse I never get any left behind residue or a oily feeling. worth the money!
Report this reviewAnother glow recipe hit
It’s love glow recipe products and this is a newer fav of mine It is fragranced, as glow recipe products tend to be, so if you don’t like fragrance in things you might not like this. This smells divine! And takes off my makeup so easily. I do find it can make my eyes a bit sensitive so tread carefully there. It’s a fab makeup remover and I use it as a first cleanse
Report this reviewGreat first cleanse
Basic but a great first cleanse. The scent and packaging does make it feel more luxurious to useÂ
Report this reviewThe best!!
This product made my makeup removal so much easier and less frustrating. Definitely worth the cash!!!Â

This product is so underrated, it removes my makeup and leaves my skin feeling fresh.
Report this reviewSo fresh and so clean
This is a great cleansing balm, takes off all my makeup - even stubborn liquid liner and every scrap of mascara - and leaves my skin feeling supple. I just wish they made it in other scents too, I get a bit tired of the papaya about halfway through the jar.Â
Report this reviewBest cleansing balm ever
This cleansing balm feels amazing, and has a very nice subtle papaya smell. The only downside is the price, but if you want the best you can get this is it
