Before she started Drunk Elephant, founder Tiffany Masterson had all sorts of skin issues. She was frustrated when she couldn’t find anything to help her combo, breakout-prone complexion, with mild rosacea and enlarged pores. She educated herself on ingredients and found the industry’s most effective actives – both synthetic and natural – that help skin function at its healthiest.

Wanting to formulate products without filler ingredients, the brand has adopted an ingredient-elimination philosophy. You won’t find any of the ‘Suspicious 6’ – essential oils, drying alcohols, silicones, SLS, fragrances/dyes and chemical sunscreens. Banish these from your regimen and Tiffany believes skin can ‘reset’ and return to its healthiest, most balanced state.
